Search for institutions that have joined the Scheme

If you can’t find an institution

The list of institutions that have joined the Scheme is continuing to be updated as more institutions join. The search list is not a complete list. More institutions will be added to the list over time.

If you can’t find the institution you are looking for, there is help. You can call the National Redress Scheme on 1800 737 377 to find out about which institutions are in the Scheme.

Some institutions have committed to join the Scheme but still have some steps to complete before they can fully join the Scheme. Some institutions are large with many sites. This means that they may choose to join in stages.

This includes institutions run by the Anglican Church, the Baptist Church, the Catholic Church, the Presbyterian Church, St John Ambulance and some branches of the Legacy Club.

Once these institutions have completed the necessary steps to join the Scheme, their details will be added to the searchable list.

You can make an application for redress from these and other institutions at any time, but your application cannot be assessed until institutions have completed the steps to join. Once you have made an application, the National Redress Scheme will contact you to acknowledge receipt of the application and provide initial guidance on the process. This guidance will include information about whether the institution, or institutions, have fully joined the Scheme.
