Heritage College commenced its operation on 31 January 1996. It provided education initially as a Primary school for Foundation to Year 7. Then a year later in 1997, government approval was given for a Secondary school which was implemented over time to Year 12. It has served continuously the Christadelphian community in Adelaide on its site in Oakden benefiting greatly from the faith community volunteer support over the years as it has grown to its present size.

This is the Head Office of AFSS, which is an Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation structured as a Public Company Limited by Guarantee. AFSS was able to provide services and support to a wide range of Aboriginal children, families and community members, ranging from Residential Care, Adolescent Homeless/at risk, Early Intervention, Family Preservation and Reunification, Foster Carer support and placement of foster children, Gambling Help and a range of capacity building programs.
