The Albany YES Committee, established in 1983 in Albany, Western Australia, was formed to address the employment and school-to-work transition needs of young people. This initiative was a collaborative effort between a local committee and the Education Department, culminating in the commissioning of the Lambe Report. The findings of this report led to the formal incorporation of the Albany YES Committee, with youth employment as its primary focus. aysa.org.au.
