Notes:
The Box Hill Amateur Athletic Club was founded in 1932. Training and competitions were held primarily at Surrey Park, as well as various venues around Melbourne, until 1969, where Hagenauer Reserve was officially opened as the permanent and current location of the club. In 1996, the Box Hill Womens Athletic Club merged with the Box Hill Amateur Athletic Club and the club was renamed Box Hill Athletic Club. Box Hill Athletic Club hosts inter-club athletics competitions for all age groups to compete each week and enters state road and cross-country competitions. Hagenauer Reserve is also used for Little Athletics and is hired by many of the colleges and schools in the district during the week.

The Australian Government acknowledges Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples throughout Australia and their continuing connection to land, water, culture and community. We pay our respects to the Elders both past and present.
