The Stubbs Terrace Hospital continued to provide in-patients services post 1994. The management of Stubbs Terrace Hospital fell under the Health Department as it was known at the time until 30 June 1997; and Board of Management of King Edward Memorial Hospital for Women and Princess Margaret Hospital from 1 July 1997. In later years it fell under the governance of Princess Margaret Hospital where its services moved from in-patient to out-patient services. The Family Pathways program was established in 2001, following the restructuring of the Stubbs Terrace Hospital.

The Australian Government acknowledges Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples throughout Australia and their continuing connection to land, water, culture and community. We pay our respects to the Elders both past and present.
