The National Redress Scheme is for people who experienced institutional sexual abuse as a child.

Institutional means a person experienced child sexual abuse while in an institution, such as a school, church, mission, orphanage, foster care, hospital, detention center or a sporting club.

These include situations when sexual abuse happened on the premises of an institution or when it happened during an activity organised by the institution such as a camp.

To find out more about your options or to connect with Redress Support Services call 1800 737 377 from Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm.
