Includes a GP, dietician, psychologists, counsellors, drug and alcohol specialists and vocational support specialists. This entity is included in the Scheme through The Benevolent Society group

Gordonvale Early Years Centre

Gordonvale EYC provides playgroups and parenting programs that The Benevolent Society runs a creche for. It also has family support Child health services, such as newborn and child health drop-in clinics and child health nurse appointments all provided by Queensland Health on site. Outreach services were provided to Gordonvale from about 2012 to 2016 when the centre opened. The outreach included a playgroup once a week and the occasional Infant Massage group.

A one-stop-shop family hub supporting the varying needs of families and their children from conception with pre-natal services. Services include infant health checks, supported playgroups, infant massage classes, immunisation clinics, parenting programs, playgrounds, toy library, family support services, community based midwifery services and a coordinated program approach to working with local early years services and allied health professionals.
